Devoted to Generosity
The four-week sermon series focuses on the story of Tabitha, also known as Dorcas, from the Book of Acts (Acts 9:36-42). This series highlights her remarkable example of generosity and service within her community. Tabitha, a disciple known for her acts of kindness and charity, used her skills as a seamstress to care for the poor and widows in Joppa. Through her story, the series will explore how true generosity goes beyond financial giving and includes the sharing of our time, talents, and love with those around us. Each week will dive deeper into how we can embody the spirit of Tabitha, allowing her legacy of compassion and selflessness to inspire our own journey of faith and giving.
Week 1 - “A Life Woven with Love” (Acts 9:36-39)
Week 2 - “The Power of a Generous Spirit” (Proverbs 11:24-25; Acts 9:40-41)
Week 3 - “Sowing Seeds of Compassion” (2 Corinthians 9:6-7; Acts 9:39)
Week 4 - “Legacy of Generosity” (Matthew 25:35-40; Acts 9:42)

We love children of all ages and they all have a special place in the ministry at LCUMC. We offer a wonderful learning experience at 10 am for those that are 2 yrs - 5 grade of age with age appropriate programming.

Sunday School is 10 am on Sunday mornings. This is a safe place where youth can come, be themselves, and be heard. Come join in; we have a place for you to belong. Senior and Junior High may meet separately or together.
