Welcome to the website, faces, and stories of League City United Methodist Church
At League City United Methodist Church (LCUMC) we understand that we are called by God to actively build followers of Jesus Christ through nurturing personal relationships and service to our congregation, our community, and beyond.
Living into this mission transforms us into a welcoming, Christ-centered, and Spirit-led community of faith and family. An established congregation, we actively connect to our community with open doors as well as vibrant traditional and contemporary worship experiences designed to draw those who gather closer to God. We nurture depth in our relationship with God and one another through our extensive programming which includes Sunday school, Bible studies, Creative Corners Weekday Ministries, and age level ministries. One of our greatest blessings is sharing God's love with others through ongoing mission activities which annually involve over 89% of our worshiping congregation in hands-on-ministries. God is on the move, and we are joining Him through our efforts and our prayers!
One of these movements is a the relocation of all or most of our ministries to 1601 League City parkway, within sight of Interstate 45. This new site will give us the opportunity to expand our ministries in all the ways to which God is leading us. We believe that this move will allow us to more fully speak to the needs of the League City community into which we are called to serve and offer the hope of Christ!
We hope that this brief introduction will entice you to come and experience the welcoming spirit which helps to define us. If you are looking for a place to find community, grow in your faith and strengthen your family this may be just the one for you. We encourage all who attend LCUMC to participate in the various faith-forming ministries which you will encounter on the pages of this website. Our A.I.M. is we would be All In Ministry together for the glory of God in ways which draw out our talents and skills. Together we seek to become the church which God desires us to be!
